Vier Jugendliche übersetzen den Radiokommentar von Herbert Zimmermann zur Schlussphase des WM-Finales Deutschland vs. Ungarn 1954 in Bern simultan in Gebärdensprache, von links: Kevin Bayer (14), Tanja Rüger (15), David Seiberlich (13) und Robin Rüger (12, alle BBZ Stegen). Sie sind anfangs simultan zu viert in einem Bild zu sehen, ab und zu kommt eine Person formatfüllend nach vorn. Im Standbild links unten macht Kevin das Zeichen für die preußische Pickelhaube, das Deutschland symbolisiert. — Das Video kann aus rechtlichen Gründen hier nicht wiedergegeben werden.

The radio commentary by Herbert Zimmermann on the closing phase of the 1954 Worldcup final Germany vs. Hungary in Berne, translated into sign language by four youths, left to right: Kevin Bayer (14), Tanja Rüger (15), David Seiberlich (13) und Robin Rüger (12, all from BBZ Stegen). In the beginning, the four are presented simultaneously in one image, whereupon alternating one of them comes forward to the full frame. Eine symbolische Vernähung der Grenze, produziert für die Ausstellung „50 Jahre Baden-Württemberg“, Haus der Wirtschaft, Stuttgart 2002. Eine an der Tragfläche fixierte D8-Videokamera dokumentiert (vor dem Aufkommen der Actionscams), wie Kunstflieger Wolfgang Frey im Luftraum über der Grenze Badens und Württembergs am nördlichen Bodensee rollt und loopt. /
A symbolic suturation of the border, produced for the exhibition „50 Years of Baden-Wuerttemberg“, House of Economy Stuttgart, Stuttgart 2002. A Digital 8 video camera, attached to the wing of an aircraft (before the emergence of actioncams), keeps recording while stunt pilot Wolfgang Frey is rolling and looping through the space over the border of Baden und Württemberg at the northern shore of Lake Constance.

Vor den kaum erkennbaren Skulpturen des „Sterbenden Sklaven“ von Michelangelo und der „Venus von Milo“ im Louvre, Paris, schwingt die mit Langzeitbelichtung aufgenommene, amorphe Masse der Museumsbesucher, während Wortfetzen hörbar werden, eine babylonische Sprachverwirrung in Sachen Kunst. / In front of the hardly visible „Dying Slave“ by Michelangelo and the „Venus de Milo“ at the Louvre in Paris, an amorphous crowd, videographed with time-exposure, is swaying while scraps of conversation fill the air, a Babylonian confusion on the field of art.
